I decided to do a quick change and switch my Essential question to Do teens use drugs to self medicate or for social reasons? New interview questions coming.

Action Plan

I plan to raise awareness about the real reason teenagers use drugs. Whether it is to self medicate or for social reasons. They self medicate to get normal in order to calm themselves down and deal with people.

Interviewee

I have finally found my interviewee. It is my aunt who is a register nurse at Allegheny General Hospital who happens to work with trouble teens with behavioral problems related to drugs. I plan on sitting down with her soon and going over my questions.

Possible interview people

I found a couple of places located in Pittsburgh with programs associated with helping teenage drug users. The Addison Behavioral Care Inc. and Gateway Allegheny Valley. I plan in the next few school days to email these agencies on having an interview on a series of questions developed by me on the drug recovery issue.

Catching Up

Today in class I did a lot of the work, I was behind on some of the assignments and took the whole class hour to finish them. My teen drug collage turned out to be okay even though it was something I put together very quick. I started to complete my "Did You Know?" which needs more work. On Tuesday I plan on hopefully starting my Webliography.
